For safety and comfort reasons, and in accordance with our classification, the capacity of each gîte is strictly limited to:
La Parrachée: 6 people
(or 2 people in the ground floor option outside school holidays)
Le Mont-Cenis: 8 people
👉 When both gîtes are rented simultaneously, the maximum capacity of the chalet is 14 people.
Exception:
A single baby under one year of age may be accommodated in addition, bringing the chalet’s maximum capacity to 15 people in total, in accordance with the regulations.
A travel cot can be provided on request.
👉 Please ensure you let us know if you are bringing a baby when you book, so that we can ensure we stay within the permitted capacity and make the best possible arrangements for your stay.
Check-in is usually from 4 pm and check-out before 10 am.

A final clean is available as an optional extra, giving you the choice. You only pay for the services you need. You can always book these options by contacting us one week before your arrival.

We love animals, but to ensure the comfort of all our guests, only assistance animals (such as guide dogs) are permitted. Thank you for your understanding.
Accessibility for people with reduced mobility
Yes. The Chalet de la Fontaine has been awarded the ‘Tourisme et Handicap’ certification for various types of disability (mobility, visual, hearing and intellectual), and our accommodation ensures optimal comfort and greater independence. The gîtes are all on one level, with disabled parking immediately nearby and accessible pathways.
Yes, we can recommend activities suitable for the season; in summer, we can organise Joëlette outings on the mountain trails, and in winter, Stéphane can offer introductory sessions on tandem skiing.
Yes. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we can arrange for specialist medical equipment to be delivered directly to the chalet (medical beds, patient lifts, mobility aids, etc.).
Stéphane, who is trained in setting up this equipment, can assist you with the installation to ensure everything is set up correctly. Please do not hesitate to contact us in advance so that we can help you organise your stay with peace of mind.
Practical information
Yes, parking spaces are available right next to the chalet. A covered, secure garage (very handy in winter!) can be provided on request, subject to availability.
Yes, a “Green Up” charging point is available at the chalet. You can therefore charge your electric car; an electricity meter will record the amount of electricity actually used, and you will be charged at a rate based on the cost per kWh.

Yes, a ski storage room with a boot dryer is available for your use.
Yes, the Chalet de la Fontaine also holds the “Accueil Vélo” accreditation. We provide bike cleaning and repair equipment, as well as a secure storage area for your electric bikes complete with a charging point.
The chalet is located 2.5 km from the Val Cenis ski area and is connected by the inter-village shuttle buses. For a change of scenery, several resorts are easily accessible from the chalet: Aussois (9 km), La Norma (15 km), Bonneval-sur-Arc (27 km), Valfréjus (25 km), as well as Val Thorens and Les 3 Vallées (28 km)
The chalet is located 2.5 km from the Val Cenis Termignon cross-country skiing area (free access) and is connected by the inter-village shuttle buses. Other cross-country skiing areas are also easily accessible from the chalet, notably Sardières (6 km) and Bessans (21 km).
