Following in the footsteps of Hannibal with the family from the Petit Mont-Cenis hut at 2122m, passing by the Perrin lake before going up the valley to the Savine lake at 2447m; the Italian border is not far away (Clapier pass at 2503m) and a loop can be made with the return by the Petit Mont-Cenis pass.
