The Maurienne is the valley with the highest concentration of mythical passes in the world. This is where the brand name “La Maurienne, the largest cycling area in the world” comes from!
From small cycling tours to the ascent of the great mythical passes, there is something for all levels and for all lovers of cycling and mountains!
Small family hike in preparation of the Grand Paradis. Start on foot from the Petit Mont Cenis refuge at 2100m (accessible by car from the Mont Cenis pass); easy path towards the Sollières pass (about 1h30) where you can see the fort and the summit of the Mont Froid; the path gets a little bit harder but the access is very fast (30 minutes) and the view is magnificent (if you look hard enough, you’ll see the chalet de la Fontaine) The return can be done by another route which is only 10 minutes longer. To be done with the family (there are many marmots on the route!)
Small tandem flight with Coline and friends of the club. The most courageous left on foot from the landing of Aussois (1580m), us from the carpark of the career with the top of the lake of plan d’ Amont (2000m accessible by car) and for the laziest, in 4×4 until the deco of the angle Bellecote with 2340m. We do not get tired of the landscape.
